Honeysuckle

Description

Honeysuckle (Lonicera caprifolium) – May aid to detox, acute infections and inflammation, cleanse/purify blood, reduce fever and is used to help reduce sore throat and headaches.  Emotionally, Honeysuckle is also used as a perfume to give a sense of joy, freedom from burdens and may aid to relax and let go of negative emotions due to its sweet and calming aroma.  It’s also used as an aphrodisiac.

Israeli Honeysuckle is a Mediterranean variety with a full bodied and long lasting aroma which grows in Israel and Egypt.  The extraction process is as an ABSOLUTE with no toxic chemicals.  The entire process is done by hand.  It’s petals are CO2 processed at a very cool temperature so as to not damage the delicate flowery aroma.  Pure local *palm oil is used to absorb the aromatic oils from the petal.  Once completely saturated, the palm oil is then separated from the Honeysuckle by using organic can sugar alcohol which is then evaporated to leave only the Honeysuckle oil.

Honeysuckle from India is a nice affordable aroma.

Honeysuckle blends well with Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang and Gardenia.

*Palm Oil:  Many (perhaps most) essential and carrier oil companies are boycotting Israel and Israeli products.  Some of these companies are now beginning to transition out of using palm oil due to its impact of non-sustainable farming practices and are discontinuing and/or transitioning and promoting other alternative oils.  Israel’s palm trees are grown and harvested in a sustainable manner.  Israel does not cut down the whole tree like other countries practice.  Rather, Israel uses the nut from the palm tree to process clean sustainable palm oil.  Sadly, most essential oil companies will not carry Israel’s palm oil even though they offer a clean superior product.
