FRANKINCENSE Boswellia Hojari Sacra – Oman* (Boswellia sacra): High in alpha-pinene, this excellent quality of Black and Brown Boswellia sacra (Olibanum/Frankincense) is grown in Oman where conditions are primo and well known for producing a superb aromatic and therapeutic experience! This special batch of Boswellia sacra contains over 67% alpha-pinene which is higher than most sacra containing around 38%. Excellent for brain inflammation, skin conditions, lymphatic flow, and inflammation of joints and muscles.

In recent years, many aromatherapists and essential oil distributors have not carried Frankincense (particularly carterii and sacra) due to the overharvesting causing damage to crops and economy of the region wherein grown; not offering sustainability. We are excited to offer a Boswellia sacra that is grown and distilled in Oman with a distiller who offers sustainability by replanting trees with every shipment order.
If kept in dark bottle with lid tight and kept in a cool dry place or if refrigerated, it can a shelf life of 5 years. Also, because most citrus and frankincense essential oils contain limonene, it is best to pour down into a smaller bottle once the bottle’s airspace is 20% or more. This will help reduce oxidation.

FRANKINCENSE is known to be an incredible immune system builder and is, currently, used in cancer research and treatments (anti-tumoral).
