ELEMI (Canarium luzonicum): May assist in reducing scarring, be calming to the stomach and act as a glandular stimulant. Traditionally the gum was used by the Egyptians for the embalming process. It is an analgesic, antiviral, antiseptic, antimebic*, fungicidal, general regulatory tonic (fortifying), and stimulant (stomachic, glandular). Beneficial for aged skin, infected cuts and wounds, inflammation, chronic conditions, fungal growths, cooling and drying, gangrene conditions, various ulcers, rejuvenation, wrinkles, bronchitis, catarrhal conditions, coughs, eases congestion and controls excess mucus. Strengthens immune system, particularly at the start of an illness, generally fortifies the body and stimulates thymus gland. It is beneficial for diarrhea, ulcers, spasmodic intestinal colitis, amoebic infections, nervous exhaustion and stress.
